The Philippines’ Civil Service Commission (CSC) administers the Civil Service Examination twice a year to assess the intellect, competence and capabilities of individuals who are aspiring to earn a position in the government. This examination is for individuals seeking general positions, different from board and bar exams.

There are two levels of the CSE, and these are (a) Sub-Professional, and (b) Professional.
