How to Apply for the Accountancy Board Exam

Have you finally decided to take the leap to claiming your much-aspired CPA license? Here are the procedures you need to follow in order to join the upcoming CPALE.

First, you need to prepare the following documents:

• Birth certificate issued by PSA (original and photocopy)
• NBI Clearance (original)
• Passport size photo
• TOR with remarks “For Board Exam Purpose only”
• Registration Fee

Thereafter, you’ll need to verify if PRC is already accepting application for the examination. If they are:

1. Create an account on the LERIS. [https://online.prc.gov.ph/]
2. Schedule for an appointment. [My Profile > Select Transaction > Examination > Fill Up > Proceed]
3. Print the Application Form and Official Receipt.
4. Go to your PRC Appointment with your documents, payment for documentary stamp.
5. You’ll need to fill out some forms.
6. Get your Notice of Admission (NOA) and Set of Instructions (to follow for the board exam).
