Civil Engineer Licensure Exam CELE Guide and Results
The Philippines’ Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) holds the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination CELE to assess aspiring civil engineer’s competence, and result will determine whether the individual is deserving of a Civil Engineer license.
An individual who passed the examination shall hold the Engr. title, useful in taking engineering jobs focused on planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects like bridges, roads, and buildings.
The two-day examination is comprised of the following: Mathematics, Surverying, and Transportation Engineering (35%); Hydraulics and Geotechnical Engineering (30%), and Structural Engineering and Construction (35%).
A candidate must obtain a general average with no grades lower than 50% in any subject to pass.

First, you need to prepare the following requirements:
- PSA Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
- Transcript of Records with scanned picture, and indicates “For board examination purposes only” (original and photocopy)
- Photocopy of valid ID
- NBI Clearance (original copy(
- 2 Certificate of Good Moral Character, original (barangay, church, school, employer)
- Marriage certificate (for married female applicants)
- Soft copy of 2×2 ID picture (formal attire)
- Passport size photo (formal attire with name tag at the bottom)
- Registration fee
After preparing the necessary documents, here are other procedures to follow:
- Go to PRC website (online.prc.gov.ph) and create an account. Fill out the necessary details.
- Upload a 2×2 photo, make sure your full head is in the frame
- Select transaction, then CIVIL ENGINEER, date of examination, first time or repeater, venue of examination.
- Select your preferred payment method.
- Go back to LERIS home page, and choose Existing transaction.
- Select PRINT APPLICATION FORM and print your application form.
Thereafter, proceed to your scheduled application venue or PRC office.
- Fill out the PRC Registration Record Card and attack your passport size ID picture.
- Place thumb mark.
- Pay for documentary stamp and attach it to your application form.
- Submit all documents to cashier for verification and pay the registration fee.
- Claim your Notice of Admission (NOA).
