Filipina actress BB Gandanghari graduates summa cum laude in LA school with a degree Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business.

A milestone which, according to the actress, is a product of hard work, discipline, perseverance, and determination.

She is also proud of being a working student and that she was never late in class.

BB Gandanghari Graduates Summa cum Laude in LA School

Entertainment personality BB Gandanghari has earned a significant milestone in her academic career, that is after she has earned the distinction Summa cum Laude for her second college degree Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business.

In an Instagram post, Gandanghari posted a photo of her graduation day as she is dressed in black toga. She captioned: “#SummaCumLaude: Be All that You can Be. Education is a lifelong passion.”

Moreover, she said in a separate post that her achievement at the Los Angeles Film School is a product of hard work, discipline, perseverance and determination.

“Being Summa Cum Laude is not without hard work, discipline, perseverance, and determination. As much as I am proud of this achievement, I am also proud as a working student of having a perfect attendance and never [being] late in my classes during the entire course.”

Adding to the recognition that she has received are the awards Student of the Month and member of the Honor Society of Los Angeles.

Gandanghari Dreams of Becoming a Creative Producer

In a previous January interview with Boy Abunda, Gandanghari shared about her dream of becoming a creative producer and a creative director, which are reasons of her decision to go back to school.

Her first degree is Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Saint Louis University in Baguio.

Rustom to Gandanghari

Gandanghari is the elder sibling of action star and Senator Robin Padilla. She was a former action star known as Rustom Padilla.

However, he would come out and disclose his identity as a gay male in the 2006 edition of Pinoy Big Brother. She came out as transgender woman and changed her name to BB Gandanghari in 2009.

Her brother Robin initially did not fully accept her decision but later recanted his statements.

BB Gandanghari is a derived from Filipino words binibini (meaning maiden), and gandanghari (ganda = beautiful, hari = royalty, kingship).

The Superior Court of California has approved her legal name and gender in 2016.
